| | Lyric Opera in two Acts • World premiere on December 17, 2014 at the Franco Zappalà Theatre in Palerme • Written in 2013 in forty-one days by Corinne Latteur, Composer, libretto by Gaspare Miraglia, the lyric opera "STALKING" pays tribute to all the women outraged, persecuted, raped, scarred, horribly killed by arrogant, violent and ruthless men, tyrants. The creation of a work so bright is a strong emphasis on countless cases of violence, often mitigated by the consequent definition of "domestic violence" as to lessen the severity. The story is that of Louise Marini (*), unhappy woman tormented by Bruno - nasty husband, persecutor affected by a morbid jealousy ... an unscrupulous man who imposes his prevaricating personality and closes the protagonist of the drama in a fence of suffering and loneliness. Hoping to save Louise, Marco Leandri - successful composer, author of the lyric drama "Catania d'amore" ("Love Chain") of which she is the protagonist - is threatened and assaulted by Bruno. This opera is a drama within the drama itself and ends tragically: homicide-suicide! The couple dies and leaves a sign of a bitter end as the various facts demonstrate daily. * Any reference to people is purely coincidental |
