• Score 6 pag. • Text language: Latin • Originally composed for soprano with organ accompaniment, the Magnificat, orchestrated by myself in this version for string orchestra, is a piece characterized by a constant search and ascent to the mystic world.
Harmoniously in some places in the pop range, its melody is almost entirely built on the sixth largest ascending range; A luminous but delicate sound arch, embellished with the simplicity of the voice line of the recipient and contractor of the song, Chiara Giacopelli. The resumption of the initial text in the second part acquires a new flavor since, with the same melody, there are some harmonic changes. The conclusion of the "Gloria Patri" was deliberately imagined by me in a mystical and evocative key. The ecstatic shade of the larger B flat gives it a sweet look of extreme simplicity.
