MILANO LUSTER BRASS takes life
in 2000, when five musicians get together
with the idea of forming a brass quintet,
Italian in spirit and in style, Italian in
the way the instruments are played and in
the selection of the repertory. The success
achieved in the many concerts held in
Europe, the consent of public and review that Milano Luster Brass has achieved,
has strengthened the idea of bringing, with only five instruments, the expressive
intensity of chant accompanied by an orchestra and, in this disk, the magic of a
scenario built in an opera house. For this reason the members of the group have obliged
themselves to transcribe some of the most fascinating pages of melodrama, exalting
the characteristics of every component until the extreme instrumental virtuousisms, to
create that exalting, vibrating and inimitable sound, that is the cross-reference mark of
MILANO LUSTER BRASS.
