Ezio Beltrami started his musical studies at the age of six playing the E-flat clarinet. Subsequently he attended the Ivrea music school in the saxophone class. Fascinated by the sound of brass, he started playing the tuba, his current instrument.
At the same time he approaches to the study of instrumentation and band direction attending courses with Daniele Carnevali, Giancarlo Aleppo, Franco Cesarini, Felix Hauswirth and Hardy Mertens.
He conducted the Sangiustese philharmonic from 1994 to 2010. Since 1995 he has been Conductor of the “La Pavonese” Philharmonic and since 1998 of the Filarmonica Cucegliese.
In recent years he has dedicated himself to the composition, arrangement and transcription of pieces by authors of the 900.
