Score 8 pag. • This small musical piece for variable orchestra consists of 3 pieces from the collection «10 Petites Pïèces Elémentaires» for piano.
The elements used enable youth orchestras or bands with variable geometry to interpret the composition even without having a large instrumentation. The orchestration is made so that the result is a well-balanced orchestra. The Director has several options to have the orchestra perform, this according to the instruments it has available.
Two spontaneous marches surround a movement that addresses combined measures (7/8 and 5/8). Anyway, the rhythm used in this movement is easy. The performers will very quickly perform with ease and fun the somewhat confusing movement.
An easy composition, pleasant and also educational as far as the overall sound balance, rhythm and ensemble are concerned.
