symbol of life and death, resurgent from the ashes;
- Name of a southern constellation, celestia representation of the mythological phoenix;
- Name also (between meanings of cities and plants),
of a small archipelago (Phoenix Islands) of the Pacific Ocean.
PHOENIX brings to mind the time and space in which man are still close
to nature: the breath of the myths; the pulsing of the stars, our ancient mothers;
the maternal and paternal presence of the sea.
And all this the sound of the flute draws and combines,
through its inscrutable sounds and its deep silences.
