Stefano Bulfon
He obtained his diplomas with full marks both in Composition (Conservatory "G. Verdi" of Turin) and in Piano (Conservatory "J. Tomadini" of Udine).
He also obtained a diploma in Composition at the CNR of Strasbourg, with a special prize of SACEM.
The decisive meetings in his formation have been those with Sylvano Bussotti and Ivan Fedele.
His music is performed by several soloist and ensembles, among them: Ensemble Intercontemporain, Arditti String Quartet, Eva Böcker, Salima De Coudenhove, Orchestre Studio de Cergy- Pontoise , Ensemble Alternance, Interensemble.
In the occasion of the stages of "Acanthes 2004-2005", taking place in Metz, he had the possibility to follow the lessons by Jonathan Harvey, Philippe Manoury, Pascal Dusapin, Wolfgang Rihm.
He has participated as well to many festivals of contemporary music, like Musica (Strasbourg, 2004), Rencontres Internationales de Composition (Cergy-Pontoise, 2005), 25 Jahre Ensemble Modern (Frankfurt, 2005).
He has been selected for the Cursus of Composition and computer music during the year 2007-2008 by the IRCAM of Paris.
